QVA NEWSThe Alternative Quiz took place on Friday 21st May.
The Inter street Quiz is always such a great success and well attended so we
wanted something a little bit different that would still attract all you Quiz
lovers out there.
So here it is the Alternative Quiz!
6 Teams entered with the following names: W and S, Apples and Pears, Norfolk
‘n’ Chance, Church Orchard, Woohoo it's the Weekend and Vicarage East.
The questions were split into the following categories with ten questions in
each round. Sports Venues, Music, Pot Luck, Ireland, Things 3 dimensional, Entertainment,
So you think you can dance, Tax. Logos and Quotations.
The pictures of the Logos were put on the teams’ tables at the beginning
so they could be worked on throughout the first half of the quiz. After each
round the questions were brought over to Sarah and me and we then transferred
the scores to the scoreboard mounted on the wall.
It was a very close contest all the way through resulting in the end result
only being 8 points between the winners and the losers. The winners were Norfolk
‘n’ Chance, the team headed by Dick and Kate Watts, who won £25
but very kindly donated the prize money back to the Village Association.
